As a child and young teenager, I wanted to be an artist when I “grew up”, but I had no idea what that meant or how it was accomplished. Attending 3 years of University and studying with many accomplished artists, then taking that knowledge and turning it into a business has taught me that growth as an artist comes from just painting…every day, never being afraid to tackle some new technique or subject. Exploring, experimenting, happy accidents or mistakes that take you in a whole new direction, and just plain hard work, with a desire to touch the world in some small way with my creations is what motivates me to paint. I have been given many opportunities through the years and these collaborations have helped me to grow as a person and a professional artist, pushing and inspired me to go beyond my limited techniques to a confidence in my abilities to create images that have sold all over the world. It is now my life and I couldn’t ask for anything more amazing
