Canadian artist Lisa Audit loves the world of decorating, and her artwork has successfully appeared on prints, stationery, wallpaper, fabrics and many other home products. Lisa paints mostly with oils on canvas but also works in acrylics and pen & ink for more precise imagery. She is inspired by past masters Picasso, Cezanne, Rubens and Manet. Lisa has a spacious studio in the basement of her home, where she lives with her two teenage children. "I have loved to draw as far back as I can remember. With a supportive family behind me, I nurtured my passion for the arts, drawing and creating new and innovative designs at an early age. I went on to study graphic arts in college and upon graduation, began designing for several well-known companies that produce wallpaper. Then I expanded my designs into stationery, fabrics, and bathroom accessories. Nowadays, a lot of my art can be found printed on different decorative household items and framed reproductions. I paint with oils on canvas watercolor, acrylics and pen & ink."
